Day 1. Arrive Delhi:
Assistance and reception. Transfer to hotel. Post lunch
tour of the historic city of old Delhi to include the magnificient
Red fort, the Jama Masjid - India's largest mosque. Rajghat
- memorial to Mahatma Gandhi and richshaw ride past the
silver street. Evening view son - et - luiere at the Red
fort. Overnight Delhi.
» Day 2. Delhi - Agra
(4 hrs):
Morning drive to Agra via Sikandra - Emperor Akbar's mousolem
Chek into hotel. Post lunch tour of the magnificient Agra
fort and the Taj Mahal. Evening free to explore the bazaar.

3. Agra - Jaipur:
Morning drive to Jaipur via the ghost city of Fatehpur
Sikri, Check into hotel. Evening tour of the city
palace, palace of winds and the observatory. Later
time free to explore the bazaar. Evening view a
pupet show at the hotel. Overnight Jaipur.
» Day 5. Jaipur - Delhi (5hrs):
Half day tour of Delhi to include Humayun's tomb,
Bahai Temple, Qutab Minar, India Gate and Mugal
gardens of Rashtrapati Bhawan (subject to timings).
Evening cocktails and dinner at the 150 year old,
Delhi Gymkhana Club or Waterbanks Island. Later
transfer to airport for onward flight.

Meet and assist at airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight

After breakfast half day sight-seeing tour of New Delhi
& Old Delhi to include India Gate, Parliament House,
Bahai Temple & the Qutab Minar. Post lunch tour of New
Delhi, visit Rajghat-Memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, India's
largest mosque Jama Masjid, visit to the famous silver street
" Chandani Chowk" on cycle rickshaw & the
magnificient Red fort.
Evening dinner at the "Chor Bazarre" theme resturant.

Day 03. Delhi / Agra:
Drive to Agra. Checkinto hotel. Thae taj Mahal, which is
essentially one amn's monumental testimony to love, has
become synonymous not only with the city but with India
as a whole. Agra, with its laid -back life-style and its
immense wealth of architecture, handicrafts and jwelery
is amongst the most remarkable cities in the world. Post
lunch tour of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort - an impressive cluster
of Palaces, Fort and Mosques on the Banks of river Yamuna
across the Taj Mahal. Overnight Agra.

Day 04. Agra / Jaipur:
Drive to jaipur via
Fatehpur Sikri. Check into hotel. The city capital of Rajasthan,
Jaipur, in the tone of a autumnal sunset, literally blushed
pink when prince Albert, the consort of Queen Victoria,
stopped on its soil in 18883. This is the only city in the
world symbolising the nine divisions of the universe through
nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. The Palaces and
forts of yesteryears that were witness to royal processions
and splendour are now living monuments, accepted quite naturally
into the life-styles of the people of the Pink city. Overnight

Day 05. Jaipur / Palace
on Wheels:
Morning
sight-seeing tour by first driving through the Pink
- rose residential and business areas of the Pink
City. Drive past the Hawa Mahal - the Bastion atop
a gaily decorated elephant. Afternoon proceed for
city sight-seeing, visiting the Maharaja's City Palace
which now houses a museum containing rare manuscripts,
fine specimens of Rajput and Mughal miniature paintings
and wepons. Astronomical observatory - first accurate
observatory in Indian subcontinent of the 15th century.
Later free for shopping, Jaipur is famous for major
gems & jwelery centre where one can find some
of the finest jwelery besides woolen carpets and cotton
rugs, hand - book printed Sanganeri and bagru cotton
fabrics. Later bord the Palace on Wheels delux train
for the continuation of your exploration of Royal
Rajasthan.

Day 06. Jaisalmer:
In the heart of Thar desert lies Jaisalmer, founded
by Rawal Jaisal , in 1156 A.D. Here the yellow sandstone
fort is an imposing sight , towering magnificiantly over
the city. Discover the painstakingly latticed havelies or
mansions with their grand facades. The Nathmalji-ki-Haveli
and Salim Singh-ki-Haveli are fine example of the stone
carver's skill. Stop at Rajasthali - the only Rajasthan
Govt. emporium, for fine pattu shawls, mirror work and emboidered
articles, wooden boxes, trinklets, silver jwellery and curios.
After lunch on board, go for an exciting camel ride on the
sand dunes of Sam, before sipping a refreshing cup of tea.
Enjoy the dinner and cultural programmes at a hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 07. Jodhpur:
Next morning the Palace-on-Wheels is in JOdhpur, a city
ringerd by a high stone wall with seven gates and several
bastion. The second largest city of Rajasthan, founded by
Roa Jodh in 1459 A. D. is known for its rock-solid Meranghar
Fort. The grand palaces within -Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal,
Phool Mahal, Sileh Mahal and Daulat Khana are impressive
examples of architectural excellence. Near the fort complex
lies Jaswant Thada, and a group of royal cenotaphs made
of while marble. After lunch at a palace-on-Wheels. While
in Jodhpur shop for exqusite handicrafted articles including
the famous breeches, emboidered shoes, metal curios, silverware,
paintings and tie and dye fabrics.

Day 08. Swami Madhopur:
One
can almost sense a life of the wildness, as the Palace-on-Wheels
arrives in Swami Madhopur, a city named after its
founder Maharaja Mawai Madho Singh I. After breakfast
a visit is arranged to the Ranthanbhor National Park,
wherein are located the ruins of a 10th century fort.
The wildlife sanctury is considered to be the country's
best for observing and photographing the activitie
sof the tiger. The park covering an area 392 sq. kms.
is home to more than 300 species of birds. The tiger,
hyena, ratel, jackal and fox are among those constituting
the carnivorous population here, Swami Madhopur is
known for the exclusive toys, ethnic ornaments

costumes. Upon return to the Palace-on-Wheels, you leave
for Chitturgarh, when one gets an oppurtunity to watch
the colourful countryside passing by in the daylight. |

Day 9. Chitturgarh:
After lunch on board you are in Chitturgarh. Images
of love and valour, scars of battles lost and won...thrice-beseiged,
Chitaurgarh Fort is all this and more. Moving legends of honour
and pride will echo in your mind as you proceed to Udaipur.

Day 10. Udaipur:
The luxury couch will take you to Udaipur, the Lake
City, the next morning. It was founded by Maharana Udai Singh
of Mewar, after the Sisodia dynasty was driven away by the
Mughals, in 1559 A.D. Perhaps the two most beautiful sites
of Udaipur are the dream-like marble palaces - the Jag Niwas
(Lake Palace) and the jag Mandir, which appears to raise from
the blue waters of lake Pichhola. After lunch at Lake Palace
hotel a visit to a city palace is exhiliarating.

Day 11. Udaipur / Delhi:
