ITINERARY DETAILS

Day 1: Delhi | Agra (3 hrs drive)

Sight seeing of Taj Mahal, Agra fort & Akbar's mausoleum.

Day 2: Agra | Fatehpur Sikri | Bharatpur (1 hr drive)

Bharatpur is Asia's largest bird sanctuary & located between Jaipur & Agra. Evening rickshaw / canoe tour of the sanctuary to view a variety of migratory birds including the rare Siberian crane.


Day 3: Bharatpur | Ranthanbore (4-5 hrs drive)

The Park sprawls over an estimated area of 400 sq. kms. Steep crags embrace a network of lakes and rivers, and a top one of these hills, is the impressive Ranthambore Fort, built in the 10th century. The terrain fluctuates between impregnable forests and open bushland. Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger's conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once, the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. The desire to preserve the game in these forests for sport was responsible for their conservation, and subsequent rescue by Project Tiger.


Day 4: Ranthambore

Morning & afternoon park safari with naturalist.


Day 5: Ranthambore | Pushkar (3 hrs drive)

Situated on the banks of Pushkar Lake, it is one of the five most sacred places for Hindus. Pushkar today attracts tourists with its scenic beauty and more than 400 temples. It is also the venue of the annual Pushkar Camel Fair. Pushkar Fair itself attracts a big crowd of tourists not only from different parts of India but also from abroad. Visit Lord Brahma Temple - It is the only temple of its kind devoted to Lord Brahma. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Braham is the creator of the universe. Built in white marble, this terrific temple is famous among tourists for its four-headed stature of Lord Brahma. Pushkar Lake - It is one of the most holy sites for Hindus and one of the most famous tourist attractions in the city. There are 52 lovely ghats surrounding this picturesque and holy lake of Pushkar.


Day 6: Pushkar | Jaipur (2 hrs drive)

Evening free to explore local bazaar. Optional bargain shopping of Jaipur's famous Blue Pottery, textiles, jewellery and decorative items handcrafted by expert artisans.


Day 7: Jaipur

Morning elephant ride to Amber Fort. Later sight seeing tour of City palace, Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds), Jantar Mantar & Amber fort on elephant back.


Day 8: Jaipur | Delhi (5 hrs drive)
