DAY 1. ARRIVAL DELHI :
Assistance , reception at the airport and transfer to your 5 star
hotel .
• DAY
2. DELHI : As you step down from your rooms, discover
a beautiful floral display "Rangoli", highlighting your company's
logo elegantly displayed in the lobby. Full day city tour of Delhi
to include the magnificent Red fort , the Jama Masjid - India's
largest mosque, Rajghat - memorial to Mahatma Gandhi , Humayun's
tomb , Bahai temple, Qutab Minar and India Gate. Relax with your
cocktails later in the evening by the poolside of a private farm
house with a live band in attendance followed by a bar-be-cue dinner.

DAY 3. DELHI I
AGRA I DELHI :
Same day return trip to Agra to see the magnificent Taj Mahal.
Board the Shatabdi Express, a superfast intercity train which takes
you to Agra in two hours. Sumptuous breakfast served on board. You
will be met at the railway station in pomp and grandeur and welcomed
by the enchanting music of army pipes and drums. Transferred in
horse carriages to your 5 star hotel where a befitting welcome awaits
you again followed by a post lunch tour to Taj Mahal. Evening free
to explore the bazaars. Transfer to board the train back to Delhi.
Met at the railway station and transferred to your hotel. Overnight
Delhi.
• DAY 4
. DELHI /KATHMANDU : Board the morning flight to reach
the "Home of the highest mountains of the world". Check into your
5 star hotel. Morning, tour of the three Durbar squares in the valley,
the cultural, social, architectural and urban focus of the cities
of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. Relish the experience of a typical
"Tharu village evening", created in the sprawling lawns of the hotel
specially for you. Tharus, a tribe who were amongst the first settlers
in the inner terrain of Nepal, bring the evening alive with a colourful
display of their lifestyle and culture. Artisans display their skills
while dancers twirl to the tribal music and "rakshi", a local alcoholic
drink helps you wash down the rich and ethnic food of the tribe.

• DAY
5. KATHMANDU : Morning excursion
to Balaju which consists of a sprawling garden of stone water-spouts
(carved in the shape of sea dragons where devotees take ritual baths
under the gush of water), religious shrines and fish ponds. Drive
back to the hotel to view the festivities of "Mani Rimdu" (monks
and masked dances) in a theme lunch created specially for the group
to give you an insight into this greatest annual festivity of the
sherpas. An orchestra of cymbals, horns, flutes and conch shells
announces the start of the celebrations with the Chief Lama, accompanied
by other monks in their maroon robes arrive on the stage. Prayers
are chanted and gratitude extended to God with the crowd rising
up to its feet to receive blessings, holy water and auspicious pellets
from the Lam humorous interludes end with a sumptuous traditional
lunch. Post lunch tour of the Budhanilkantha, situated in the foots
of the Nilgiri hills and Bouddhanath Stupa, the largest stupa in
the valley which presents one of the most fascinating specimens
of stupa architecture. Overnight Kathmandu.

DAY 6. KATHMANDU : Morning
excursion to the Pashupatinath temple, one of the most sacred Hindu
shrines in the world and the Changu Narayan temple, dedicated to
Lord Vishnu. Afternoon at leisure for shopping the endless specialities
of this valley like carpets, thangkas (traditional paintings of
deities on paper or silk), papier mache masks, colourful Nepali
caps, Nepalese and Tibetan handicrafts, beads, block prints of Tibetan
and Nepalese deities on local rice paper, khukuris (Nepalese knife),
Nepalese tea, cloth and jewellery, a wide range of attractive terracotta
posts, bowls and flowerpots and electronic goods. Later, drive to
the village of Nagarkot, situated on a ridge to the northeast of
the valley, offering the best views of eight of the ten highest
mountain peaks in the world. It is known for its enchanting sunrise
and sunset over the Himalayas. Overnight Kathmandu.
• DAY
7. KATHMANDU / CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK: Drive to Chitwan
National Park, situated 120 krns south west of Kathmandu. Check
into deluxe jungle resort. Enjoy a canoe ride in the nearby river
to view wildlife like marsh mugger, gharial crocodiles and Gangetic
dolphins. Evening, bonfire and bar-be- cue dinner with local tribals
performing to their rustic village tunes. Overnight Chitwan.
• DAY
8 . CHITWAN The group is kept busy the whole day with
activities like wildlife safaris on elephant back, a drive through
the jungle in Land rovers, bird watching and nature walks to the
local villages. Evening, bonfire and bar - be-que. Overnight Chitwan.
• DAY
9. CHITWAN I KATHMANDU
I DEPARTURE KATHMANDU: Drive to Kathmandu in time
for connecting flight to international destinations.
